I absolutely love the look of succulents so when I saw several posts on the last couple Merry Monday link ups that involved succulents, I knew I wanted to make a roundup for them. I also added in a couple of my favorite ways to decorate with them. Succulents are so great to decorate with, they come in many different colors and textures. They range from yellows and greens to blues and purples to even reds. There are so many shapes to choose from as well! Another good thing is if you do not have a green thumb (like me!), there are so many great options for faux succulents. Some of them look so real you would not even know they are faux. Here are some beautiful ways to decorate with succulents in your home.
Emily at Two Purple Couches made a simple centerpiece for her table with using faux succulents around a vase using a wreath! Genius!
I love this DIY faux succulent planter in the cute galvanized container by Amanda at The Kolb Corner. This picture is great with the sunlight coming through the plant. This would be a quick and easy way to introduce succulents into your decorating.
Here is another example in a galvanized bucket by Our Crafty Mom. Don’t you just LOVE that bucket? I like how it looks like the succulents are spilling out of the bucket. Check out how she got them to stay put. 🙂
This is such a sweet idea by Making Joy and Pretty Things. This little terrarium is adorable! There are so many container options available you could use to make a terrarium as well.
How about creating a tablescape using succulents like My Life From Home. Aren’t these little mini succulents as placeholders so precious? They are too cute!!
This next example from My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies shows that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to decorate with succulents. She found these fabulous succulents at the Dollar Store! Add some dirt and rocks and they look like real plants! I couldn’t believe that…I think I will be visiting our Dollar Store soon. 🙂
Here is a fun one! Make a succulent monogram like My Sweet Savannah Blog! I love how she used the back side of a galvanized letter as the planter. Such a brilliant idea!!
Instead of paying the high price of a succulent wreath found at Pottery Barn, Krista at The Happy Housie made her own! Love it and it looks very close to the original!
Why not go vertical with your succulents? East Coast Creative Blog did just that with this great planter in their sunroom. The individual boxes are super cute!
Here is another example of a vertical succulent hanger by Inspired By Charm. These real succulents are gorgeous and thriving!
This has to be one of my favorite ways to decorate with succulents! This birdcage with the succulents by Craftberry Bush is soooooo pretty! I want one!
You can literally use anything to hold your succulents! I love this little vintage truck by Life Is A Party. Way to think outside of the box! So cute!!
What do you think, are you going to try some succulent decorating? 🙂 I know I am! Let’s see what the other hosts have featured in their roundups this week.
