Looking for a different way to decorate for fall? This blush pink and copper fall decor still has all the warm fall feels while being pretty at the same time!
This post has been a long time coming but I am getting it out just in time! Thanksgiving is a couple days away and then it is onto Christmas decor, which I already have up! It is always a little weird celebrating Thanksgiving when the house is decorated for Christmas. Oh well, that is the life of a blogger! π Truthfully, I was a little sad to see this blush pink and copper fall decor go, it is such a beautiful color combination.
Find color inspiration from an accent decor piece
I was inspired to decorate with this color scheme when I found this painting at Hobby Lobby. It has shades of copper, blush pink, mustard, brown and tan. I planned my whole dining room fall decor around it. That is a great tip for decorating, find something that you like the colors of and use that as your guide. It could be a painting like this, an accent pillow or the fabric on some furniture.
I found this Autumn harvest sign at Hobby Lobby as well! It worked perfectly for the copper fall decor scheme. It is one I will surely use again in the future. π
Did you notice my DIY felt leaf wreath on the mirror? That wreath post was shared last week and I promised another view of it in my decor. I hung it on the mirror using some coordinating ribbon and a command hook on the back of the mirror.
I love how the wreath looks on the mirror. The reflection makes the felt leaf wreath look more full. This color combination blends in perfectly with my fall decor, but you can make it in any colors you want. Check out the tutorial to learn how to make one!
Make a simple dining room table centerpiece
I put together a simple centerpiece for the dining room table by adding a basket with some pumpkins. I found some copper and tan felt pumpkins at the Dollar Store that fit into my theme well. Not only with the colors, but also with the felt texture. π I paired them with some white pumpkins I already had on hand.
In addition, I added one of my DIY Sherpa pumpkin pillows to the basket.
The other bigger Sherpa pumpkin pillow sat next to some throw pillows on this window seat in the dining room. I have plans to make a seat cushion for this area but haven’t gotten that far yet. π
We recently added some curtains to this window seat area. I love how they turned out and they make this area look so cozy! The curtains also highlight the tall ceilings we have and I am all for that! I love the tall ceilings in this house. If you are looking for some long affordable curtains, I found these curtains at Ikea. I did have to customize them a little bit but I will be sharing about that later.
I still want to make a bigger mirror to go on the buffet table to fit the space on the wall better, but as with everything, we will get there. There is a long wish list for things I want to do in this house but not enough time in the day. LOL For now, this mirror works well!
Blush pink and copper fall dining room decor
These copper stems paired with the wheat stems help to add some more height to the buffet table to balance out the height of the mirror. They also happen to match perfectly with the rest of the decor. It’s almost like it was planned that way. π I found the glass iridescent copper pumpkin last year at Home Goods! Isn’t it pretty? It also lights up!
What do you think? Do you like this blush pink fall decor color scheme or are you a more of a fan of traditional fall colors?
I will be back next week to start sharing my Christmas crafts and decor! Yay!! I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
