As the weather turns cooler in the fall, we start to use our oven more again and that includes some casseroles for dinners. While we are not huge casserole fans, there are a few that we LOVE! This chicken stuffing casserole is one of them. We usually add some mashed potatoes, a veggie and roll on the side and it is literally like you are eating Thanksgiving dinner in a casserole! YUM!!
Another bonus is that it is super easy to make! There are no crazy ingredients that you have never heard of before.
It is easy to throw together after you get home from work. Prepare the stuffing according to the box then layer the ingredients in your casserole dish.
Throw it in the oven to bake for an hour. Then add the cheese and french fried onions. Isn’t everything better with a little french fried onions on the top? π
Put it back in the oven to melt the cheese and brown the onions.
Voila! See, I told you it was easy! π These pictures really do not do it justice! It is kinda hard to photograph a casserole and make it look super appealing! However, the taste is ah-mazing! Also, it is great reheated the next day as leftovers. That is if you have any left! Ha!
Craving a little Thanksgiving dinner without all the fuss! Try this chicken stuffing casserole, it is like Thanksgiving dinner in one dish!
