I love a good DIY project.  For one, they are usually more budget friendly than going out and buying the same product or service.  Second, you can customize your project to fit your needs or space.  Lastly, the amount of pride you have in the finished product is immense!  I love looking around our house and seeing all of our DIY projects from over the years.  Just knowing that we made them ourselves makes me feel very proud!  🙂
