Today I am going to share a simple Christmas wreath that took me 2 minutes to put together. Really… 2 minutes! Plus, I did not have to use glue or anything on it, so it will be easy to take apart and reuse the materials for something else later. This wreath is so simple I was debating on whether so do a tutorial but I thought someone may appreciate it and be inspired to make a wreath knowing it is really this easy. 🙂
For this project you will need:
- Grapevine Wreath
- Ribbon & Bow (mine came as a combo)
- 2 Christmas picks
I started by wrapping the ribbon around the wreath. There is no need to tuck it in at the start because the ribbon will overlap itself a little and hold it down.
After wrapping all of the ribbon on the wreath, I tucked the end of the ribbon under the grapevine so it would not unravel.
This is the ribbon and bow combo I found at Walmart. The picks and grapevine wreath also came from Walmart.
The bow already had a twist tie connected to it, so I just used that to hold the bow and picks together. I turned the bow vertical instead of horizontal so it would fit together seamlessly.
Push the ends of the picks into the grapevine until they are firmly in place. It was easier to work with one pick first then the other, instead of trying to push them both in at the same time.
That is it! Easy peasy, right?
Now just hang it on your front door, or wherever you want to put it and you are done. Now stand back and admire your hard work. 😉
This wreath could also be used for any season of the year. Just change out the ribbon and picks to suite that season.
I hope you have a Merry and Blessed Christmas! Enjoy your time with your family, we will be doing the same. 🙂
